Overview

A unique ,3-day adventure to the Lacandon jungle experience. Stay at a local community, sleep at an eco-lodge. and hike in the jungle. This tour is a real experience, for those of yo who love to travel. We travel with local transport though beautiful nature. The road is windy, and the final part goes slow. It makes arriving to the eco lodge even more fullfilling.

Itinerary

Day 1 :

We leave San Cristobal by collective transport at 10 am and arrive to the eco lodge around 3 – 4 pm. In the afternoon you have time for yourself, you can walk around the premises, eat at the small restaurant and get a reel feel of the jungle.

Day 2 :

We wake up early. Breakfast! We can't hike on an empty stomach. After that, we will go on a hike, guided by someone of the community. The route takes around 3 hours. We walk through different ecosystems, the high and medium jungle, and the forest. Our destination is the waterfall. The trip includes crossing a lake in a wooden canoe, If we are lucky we might see crocodiles :)

Day 3 :

How we always start our day, with breakfast. After that we wil head back for San Cristóbal. The route is the same, but not less exciting. Travelling off the the beaten path with local transport, passing small villages hidden in the jungle is a big part of the adventure.
