Overview

In this route we will go to the community of Xaaga, here we will start with a 3 hour hike were we will find Pre-Hispanic paintings,burials,cruciform tombs, a ball game court, and beautiful flora and fauna all around.

 

After our hike we will have lunch in in a restaurant in the town. After lunch we will continue the tour and learn about the style of textiles of this community. Before heading back to Oaxaca we will pass through the “Exhacienda of Xaaga”, where we will hear some stories of the community in the revolutionary times.
