In this workshop you:

• Learn about the traditional belt weaving technique that has been practiced in the highlands of Chiapas since a very long time
• Weave a small part of the belt, which you can keep at the end
• Have all materials and a lunch included

Xihuetzca Artesanal is a project dedicated to promoting Mexican textiles. We work together with several families of artisans from Chiapas and Oaxaca, and focus on pieces for interior decoration.

The workshop is taught by Josefa, an artisan from Zinacantán.
